Frank Kugler

As a senior operations manager, Frank Kugler is responsible for Microbiological Services at Labor LS SE & Co. KG. He also works as a trainer and is a safety expert. An expert in industrial hygiene, he advises customers when issues arise in this area.

Frank Kugler has been employed at Labor LS SE & Co. KG since he qualified in 1983 and quickly took over responsibility for microbial identification, the maintenance of reference strains, industrial hygiene and the preparation of culture media including testing and release. Under his leadership, biochemical systems and the MALDI-TOF method for identifying microorganisms were implemented at Labor LS SE & Co. KG.

As the company expanded and restructuring was required, he took over responsibility for molecular biology, disinfectant testing and special testing. He is responsible for a number of different microbiological service divisions (including classical and molecular microbial identification) that are responsible for contract work and in-house testing.
