After studying food chemistry and earning a doctorate in this subject, he began his professional career in 1993 as a GLP test manager in a medium-sized contract laboratory. In addition to the residue analysis of pesticides, his tasks at that time also included the testing of consumer goods such as textiles and leather, as well as the testing and assessment of food contact articles.
After just four years, he moved to the pharmaceutical industry and has remained loyal to the GMP environment to this day. He worked for 11 years in a pharmaceutical contract laboratory as technical manager. His responsibilities there included pharmaceutical quality control of starting materials and finished products.
He was also entrusted with the performance of stability tests and method validations.
