French GMED becomes 15th Notified Body under MDR

The French company GMED, based in Paris was designated 15th Notified Body under the new Medical Devices Regulation (MDR) on July 8, 2020.


According to the company, the designation covers a wide range of medical device categories including active implantable medical devices. 

As the company further announces, it is now also seeking designation under the In Vitro Diagnostics Regulation (IVDR).
